Ram AIR Questions

So i constructed my ram air on my 2.8 stock v type intake ,
my question is can to much air harm you ?
and my temputure gauge bounces around like crazy does any one els do that to ?

can my ecu handle that much air ?
should i buy a superchip ?

Your engine will never have more air than it can handle, unless you add a turbo. Don't worry about getting a chip, they don't do much.
Your temperature gauge problem seems to be a bad sensor or wiring. I would make sure the wires aren't damaged and replace the coolant temp sensor.
