MISSING PARTS???
PLEASE HELP. FOUND A PINK/BLACK WIRE AND A BROWN WIRE IN THE SAME LOOM AS THE TPS WIRING AND HI/LO WIRING. MITCHELL MANUALS, HAYNES MANUALS SHOW SOME SORT OF AN EGR SOLONOID AND A AIR SELECT SOLONOID?? FOR SOME REASON OR NOTHER I CANT FIND THEM ON THE CAR. AFTER CONSULTING WITH SOME MECHANICS THAT I KNOW, THEY ARE ALL SAYING THAT SOMETHING DOSENT LOOK RIGHT. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!:CONFUSED:

Mechanics want to steal your money, and there are variatiions nearly fro month to month on the wiring pattern in thirdgen F-bodies. If the car runs, I'd say don't sweat it. Otherwise, we're going to need some detailed info about your car, like, year, to start.

Kntrdr, I'm not sure where you're describing... first off, what year/engine is your car again?
And what do you mean by "hi/lo wiring"? Are you describing something near the throttle body, or elsewhere?
And Reno, as far as I know, the wiring for the motor has stayed pretty constant, besides the carb/MAF FI/MAP FI changes.

sorry about the incomplete info. 89 rs 2.8 liter. the hi/lo wiring i was refering to is idle air crtl motor i think. it is mounted by the tps on passenger side
