Sure it isn't a Grand Prix?? Never made a Turbo V6 Grand Am...only turbo in a Grand Am was the late '80s 2.0 litre 4 banger.

It should be a Grand Prix! But if you are planning what I think you are,(great minds think alike)
, that engine may not work in a F-body! Some engines(2.8,3.1,2.5 etc) have two or more configurations for RWD and FWD cars! But the turbo unit, intake, and the electronics should fit your V6. The exhaust mainifold(s) that hold the turbo unit may need to be modified to fit the RWD F-body! It's possible!!!! Do some research!! A 3.1 TURBO F-body would be the ultimate sleeper!!!

IT is a GRAND AM. My buddy had one in high school, amazingly fast for a "god damn"
Now that I think about it, it was a 4-banger though...

yeah, i think the car u are talking about is a Grand Prix. the Grand Am came turbo in the early 90's but it was a 2.0 I-4, but in the mid 90's 93-95 you COULD, if u wanted to pay almost 27,000, get a Super Charged Leigenfleter Grand Am it was the 3.1 w/a centrifugal supercharger. My father has one it has about 200 hp., but only came w/a 4 spd. auto, and would no way fit in a Camaro b/c the motor mounts aren't on the bottom of the motor they are on the tranny and the front of the motor right in front of the belt.
