Does any one know if there is any differnce between a non fuel injected 2.8 block and a injected one?
I spun a couple of berrings and I need to know if I could use any 2.8 chevy block to replace it?

The 2 piece seal was all I knew about.. thanks for the info 3.1!
The carb'd ones also had that fuel pump sticking out of the block. I know when a carb'd v8 guy gets an electric pump, they buy a block-off plate to cover the hole. I don't see why you couldn't do the same, and make one. Just use a normal pump's gasket on it.
Does anyone know the compression ratio or camshaft specs for 82-84 motors?
Also Knight, how do you know you've spun bearings? I'd like to be able to know if that happens to mine, but man I hope not!
