Occasional SES light...no code set
I sometimes get the SES light on, turn off the engine, then restart and the light stays OFF. There is no code set. AAny ideas..
BTW.. great to see thirdgen back

I've had the same thing happen w/ my car. The light will stay on then ya cut the engine, crank it back and it is gone. I wonder about the ole SES light sometime. I never worry about it though. And yeah it is good to see Thirdgen back. I missed it. I had a lot of stuff to talk about about my car while the site was down.

same thing mine did when the MAF needed to be replaced...the board inside was TOTALLY melted...try running the codes when the light is on.

I have similiar problems with my 92 RS - it only seems to happen when people other than me (with distinctly different driving habits) try and drive the car.
It did it for a while when I first got the car but stopped in about 6 months.

Ive had the light come on with the flex circuit behind the gauge cluster screwing up the VSS - I dont knwow why, as i stopped, it would rev and come on sometimes, when i drove it went away. My O2 Sensor wire i think has a loose connection because it will pop in and out of open loop until i crawl under the car and giggle the wire and it goes away for a month or 2. Same thing, SES light on while driving and then it will go away.
