Functional Ram Air system for a V6?

I drive a 92 firebird with a 3.1, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a compatable Ram Air system and hood, and a place to buy them..

i found a place that does ram air hoods like the 4th gens that come with a ram air system thats functional...im sure u could just make a hose from the ram air box to the tb and vwaala...u have a functional ram air...ill look for the link and post it.

NO!!!!!!! that place is a ripoff, and, in my humble opinion, has the UGLIEST ram air hoods around. What you want to do is go to

and get their Ram Air hood. (best price you'll find for that piece) then after installing it and paiting it to make your bird look like a bad@ss, you fabiracate an air box and some tubing, then connect it all up. Use your imagination, it's a LOT cheaper.

This is something l was planning on doing also. However, my concern is not the hood, but rather, how do you keep water out of the intake? Any ideas?

*supposedly* K&N filters won't let water through, at all. otherwise, I wouldn't even worry about it. If you're really worried, you could put some kind of mild baffling or maybe a cotton screen in there?
