vibration
ok my car is vibrating like a ****. it does it a lot at idle and sometimes at low rpm speeds. all my mounts are good and so are the universal joints on the driveshaft. it feels like it's coming from the tranny. maybe it's gonna take a $hit??? please help.

My tranny did this when it was low on fluid, so check that. Also, check your sparkplugs, sometimes you'll be missing on one cylinder only through the low RPM's, but then it will kick in on the highers. Good luck.

Another good spot is the inside of the distributor cap and the tip of the rotor... check for a large amount of carbon deposits (white). You can remove these carefully with a flat metal file, just don't round off the edges. A new cap is best...
My car had so much deposits on the cap once that it would barely run- everything else (plugs wires timing etc) was normal. That's the last time I put a smear of silicone dielectric on distributor cap contacts!!
