If I wasn't so damned lazy, I coulda done all this myself, but I am, so I didn't
I had the dealer I work for do a couple things today. 1st, my tilt column was getting loose, so I had them tighten every damn bolt in it, and WOW!! It must have been getting loose for awhile. It used to feel a little vague off center, but its so tight now! Probably what I felt was just a little wiggling caused by it being loose, but whatever it was, its gone!
The other thing was, my car was veering right any time I had to hit the brakes at any speed faster than, I dunno, 3MPH
Turns out my LF brake hose was so clogged, it was barely useable!! So I had them replace both front brake hoses, and they bled the brakes. And of course, with the LF barely working, this managed to wear the hell out of the RF, so I got new pads and the rotors turned, along with the wheel bearings repacked.
So for $350 it was pricey, but at least I don't have to spend a day (or with my luck regarding the wheel bearings, more) screaming at my car and throwing tools around the garage
(Not at the car of course...couldn't have that!!

Glad to hear the car's back on the road! I had a brake hose collapse on me, too. Everyone by now should get those brake hoses replaced, they're definately deteriorating away. That was my first experience with brake fluid, and yes, I covered the garage floor with it. I'm very good at making a mess.

Yeah, as it turns out Tom, I was lucky I had the dealer do it. If I had needed to mess around with brake fluid, I would NOT have been happy
I make enough of a mess changing my oil!!!
