As far as I know, only the GM Blazers used the RWD 2.8. Won't a FWD 2.8 crank work?

i'd also think that crank would work. Now, i've never paid much attention to the FWD version, but is the intake mounted in the same direction, but there's a bellow in the pipe which moves it to fit teh fWD application?

When I rebuilt my engine it was knocking. Not to bad though. When we pulled it apart the crank had some light scratches.I was worried that I would have to have the crank turned alot.I didn't want to turn it more then .0010 of an inch.
I had a crank from a FWD 2.8.I called NAPA about the difference. They told me the cranks are the same.Several other parts stores around here told me the same.
