my next mods, opinions please
my next mods, opinions please
how much diff. will i notice if i get a chip and power pulley? what kind of chip should i get, a hypertech, jet or ADS? i know im getting hypertech pulleys but how hard is it to replace pulleys and a chip. do u need any special tools to pull the pulleys and where is the chip located. is this mod worth it

Well, most on here will tell you to get a FastChip. Go to www.fastchip.com and see if it's right for you.
I went with Hypertech for 2 reasons.
1) Auto Zone sells them, so if I had a problem, I could bring it back. Plus it was easy to run down the street and order it.
2) For $99, the bang for the buck is hard to beat. I noticed a difference the second I plugged it in. Remember though, it'll only change your settings at wide-open-throttle.
Some will tell you FastChips are the best, which very well may be true. I'm gonna order one someday just to give it a shot. Others will tell you JET is great and Hypertech is crap.
I got an answer to that; they do the same thing, and make the same claims. Not only that, but I beat a Jet-equipped '88 2.8 in the same condition/tune as mine. Actually, I beat him twice on 2 separate days. Thats proof enough to me that they ain't any better.
