have any of you taken off your cat? i am thinking about it. how much louder is it with it off? someone told me that it could mess up you fuel injection or your computer is this true?

Lots of guys around here are running gutted cats, but they may have trouble passing emmissions...

I found out in 1997 that my car had a gutted cat. I was passing emissions at the state centers since '94 with it! Anyway I found this out as I was replacing my cat with a high-flow unit.

The gutted cat shouldn't mess up your fuel injection or computer... but why not get a high-flow unit and stay legal?

the random tech. one i put on i think made my tone a little lower and im quicker off the line
