I know 82-T/A (Todd) did, but seems like that message is gone forever. Everyone says the lower intake is poorly ported- but I don't know if they mean the manifold, or the lower plenum. They also didn't say exactly the areas they fixed.
I noticed on the intake manifold something a bit odd, where the injectors poke through. It kind of looks like:
o)
The "o" is the injector. The ")" is a wall around the edge of the injector. The other 3 sides of the injector are open to incoming air.
I wonder if fuel isn't getting it's full chance, since one side is blocked. Altho that blockage might be on purpose, maybe it creates some kind of vaccuum that helps "suck" the fuel away from the injector?
I also see nothing amazing that can be ported through the TB. Seems like any porting on the TB would have a very minor effect on air flow. The whole thing seems pretty smoothed out already.

82-T/A said he felt a noticable gain. It makes sense, too... and one of these days I'll rip apart one of those spare sets of 2.8 heads I have to see what's in there.
