On my dad's 1990 Buick 3.8, he wants to check the computer for codes. On my car I use pins 5 & 6. What pins do you use on his? Thanks!

The Connector looks like this

Does anybody know which 2 pins to hook together?

Should be the same. All GM's from the mid-late 80's had the same computer setup.
