How do i remove the smog pump?


I was wonderin how to remove the smog pump?The round black thing next to the airbox on firebirds.How would i plug off the vaccum lines.Is there anything that would be hurt if i took it off?

yea it would change something. your emissions would go up.

correct me if i'm wrong but it sounds like you're describing the charcoal canister.

i don't think you can remove it but you can try to relocate it. plus, i don't think there are any advantages of removing that.
