Fuel pump issue
i dont know if your guys 3rd bodies does this ------
When i put the car in run position to start it the fuel pump comes on like usual but thats not the problem when i opened the passenger side door the fuel pump came on again i didn't have the car running i had it in the run position so i could listen to the stereo and test my new battery so im wonder does everybodys fbody behave like that or is my fuel pump shorting or something else is to the blame

Re: Fuel pump issue
not sure if this is true or not but to my understanding the fuel pump comes on to bring pressure up in the system when the key is in the ON position so depending on the time lag between flipping the key to On and getting out of the car and opening the door maybe the pressure went low enough to bring the pump back on.

Re: Fuel pump issue
i fixed its problem, the positive battery cable wasn't very tight and when you close the door the battery would lose connection with the electrical system witch would cause the stereo to go off for 2 seconds and the fuel pump to lose and retrieve current again so i just tighted the cable and the problem is fixed thank you though

Re: Fuel pump issue
well i was wondering cause every time i closed the passenger side door my JVC head unit would skip so i walked to the front of my car lifted the hood and wiggled the battery cable sure enough that was it every time the battery cable would move the stereo would skip and car stereos are all equipped with skip protection so i was damm finally figured it out but now i put washers to fix the problem i still need one more but i cant get the battery cable off now because the bolt is so far in on those battery cable! its a chain reaction!
