My custom SHORT RAM iNATAKE..
Hi, I made a custom Short RAM Intake for my 2.8 liter camaro, but my question is that on my stock intake there was a sensor near the air filters and another bigger sensor near the intake manifold it was like this bigger piece, the question is that, do I really need those sensors?are they important?and what do they do?thanks!

Umm, the IAT tells the ECM what the temperature of the air in the intake is, and the MAF tells the computer HOW MUCH air is running through the intake. Yes, you need both, or your fueling will never be right unless you want to swap ECMs also to one that uses a MAP.

I was gonna ask that but I was afraid of what I might see.
People who ask if a sensor is important to the engine, ya know...
