Blower Fabrication questions...

Since noone actually makes a blower kit for our engine, I was contemplating ordering a full kit (eyeing the powerdyne 4.5 PSI kit intended for LT1 Camaros right now) and fabricating the brackets. Can anyone let me know what else I'd need to fab, or just brackets and piping? Thanks ahead.

After visiting Powerdyne's website, I think the brackets are it. They claim the 4.5 doesn't even need ignition retard or a higher capacity fuel pump! I think I'll replace my pump just to keep it healthy, and send my injectors to TomP's place, whatever it was called, just to make sure it's up for it. After that, fuel gauge, boost gauge, chase down a Mustang, and make some glue!

Check out the ADS injectors through Summit...SUPPOSEDLY high flow, but at the minimum they sound better than stock ones. Could be wrong though....

As far as I've known, there has to be some type of FMU (fuel management unit) that alters the vacuum signal to the FPR. This way the blower can raise/lower fuel pressure as required.

The injector joint was http://www.cruzinperformance.com , Rich Jensen's email address is on the site.
