Bare with me here...Remember the "Super Boost Mode" button? Well, I was thinking of a friend of mine who has a turbo on his Talon, and he has a digital controller inside to actually dial up how much boost he wants. He can select, digitally, from a little over stock to 420 HP. that's a little too complicated for me, but still a cool idea.
Being a product of the 80's, I thought of my hero, Michael Knight, and how he just had a button, so it was either fast, or REALLY fast. How could I do the same? Nitrous runs out, and I'm planning on getting a blower anyway, so here's what I cam up with:
Cut a hole of some sort in the ducting between the blower and the throttle body. Rig a small motor and plate so that with the touch of a button in the cabin, the hole will be blocked, restoring the engine to full boost. Push button 100 HP, that won't run out. Pointless, yes, but mount the button somewhere really conspicuous, like an overhead console, and impress the hell out of your passengers.
Just a crackhead thought...

I'd say get the blower working first then worry about a switch... but it doesn't sound too efficent to be blowing out into the engine compartment, plus that air has already been accounted for by the maf... just some thoughs.
By the way does 420hp sound high to anyone for a talon? I don't know much about the car but that does seem a bit high. Later.

It sounded high to me too, but then I went for a ride in it. My stomach was in the back seat.
And as for the waste air, yeah, it would be blown off, that's the point. Stupid point, but the point, nonetheless.

i say, install the switch to nothing, hit the button and then stomp the gas pedal, to make the car downshift to a lower gear, make em think you've got like extra gears or something
and if all else fails you could deckercharge it. Sorry, guys, but i'm stuck on this oldschool idea!
