how much have you spent on mods?

heres my mods and money.

pulleys and belt $95
headers and ypipe $300
K&N cone $20
catback $175
3.73 $600
shift kit $25
cam $175

almost 1400 bucks all for a 16 flat at 85.6 mph. Oh well I;ve learned alot about cars. The only mod I didnt do myself was the gears.
About the only other things I want are and MSD 6A, a chip, and maybe I'll port my heas out and get a 3 angle valve job.

Graeme, by t5 swap, you talking t5 to t5 or auto to t5? If auto to t5, how much is it running you total? Muh 700r4 is going ****-up.. rather switch to a manual if it's not too expensive

i went auto to t5.. its been 2 months and today was the only day i actually made some progress..bellhousing came in, put in tranny, put in shifter, started car with tranny in, put in driveshaft, took out old pedals. Now all i have left is torque arm, hydraulics and i can drive it! The only thing thats kinda weird is i dont get a ses light for no torqe converter...!

You guys don't want to know what I've spent. I could have bought 2 slightly used TTA's.

2 motor rebuilds - about $6K
5 trans rebuilds - between $1000 to $1400 each; Art Carr 9-inch converter $750
new exhaust w/ cats - $1200
new turbo and now beigh rebuilt - $750 new with $400 for rebuild
origional head work - $750 to fix origional headwork another $1000, used ported heads to replace cracked origional heads $800
new intake - $140; new lock wire head gaskits 6 sets $140 each. assorted ARP stud bolts $350
probably another 5-6 thousand for odds and ends like tires, wheels, electronics, k&n filters 40.00 each, injectors, fuel lines, etc

Need new rear Moser 12-bolt $2K, need custom rollcage - $2500

And still putting money into the 91 Mustang to run Street Renegade

Boy am I CRAZY!!!!!!!

Pete
