Wow! Insurance rates!

I'm 17. Allstate will cover me for 6 months for only $530,minumal coverage. Cool, huh? I also talked to the agent...He said it dont matter much between the V8 and the V6,he said they dont look at it like that anymore. They more look at a driving record and stuff like that.

Thats 85 bucks a month! Not bad for a 17 yr old and a Camaro...V6,V8,I dont care what I get now!

------------------
Had an '89 RS...sold it. *sniff,sniff*

I'm currently looking for an RS or if I can find one,IROC.

I only pay $85 a month and I'm 18. Good thing I'm still on my dad's insurance. I am down as the driver of the Camaro. It was our agreement that I would always be put as the driver of the oldest car we have.

Wait to you get a little older and have KIDS and 5 vehicles. (TTA, 2 mustang GT's, 88 Nova and 98 Tahoe) My insurance is about $3300 a year or $300.00 a month.

OUCH

Whoa, I had a '91 firebird (V6), fully covered for $840 per 6 months by Allstate, I'm 17 and clean record 'till last week. They're a solid insurance company, but i think $140 a month for full coverage is too much.

I'm planning on getting an RS V8 soon, and will be covered again by Allstate. But i don't know how bad they'll hike my rate, since they're still investigating who's at fault for my last accident. It will prolly be me since i was in back, but on the other hand the person in front stopped in the fast lane 'cause she was talking on her cell. They said they'll try to fight it.

Do you know how much of a discount they give for "good students"?
