Need a little help here.....
Okay, so i bought a 92 V6 off a friend about a month ago, I'm not loaded with cash, but am prepared to shell out some good dough to get this car nice, just over a long period of time (its my second car).
I live in California, and in the Bay Area, so the smogging restrictions don't allow for crazy mods, or i'd go crazy with it..
My question is.. is there anybody on this forum that can lead me in the right direction to get some nice performance outta my car with still being able to keep it street legal and smoggable?
Any california V6 camaro guys are welcome to respond to this.. and would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!!

Umm, you're thinking V8 rear gears... V6s got either a 3.42 or 3.23... Assuming a 92 with an auto, it's probably a 3.23.
Basically, California only allows bolt-ons, and you can probably forget about a hybrid swap as too many smog parts are deleted. Pacesetter headers are a :nono: as well (CA was the only state to not certify them for emissions standards due to no AIR connection). Port and polish and possibly a good tune with a turbo might be on the good list, but, not living in CA, you might want to look up your emissions laws first.
