Plug Wires & Cap

I was in a local auto parts store today (In Vancouver, Canada) and noticed that Borg-Warner makes 8mm Plug Wires.... Has anyone used them? Also noted that a company called "Wells" makes a *Gold* cap & rotor (copper or brass contacts) has anyone used one of these? It may be possible that these are only available in Canada.

Oh yeah 2 other questions:
I have taken apart my Interior on a couple of occasions and have not found the build sheet, is there a way to get a new copy? (Im assuming the original owner kept it)

Also in the case of rear-ends which is better for performanc e, a lower ratio or higher one? (Im asking because according to build sheet on my mom's '92 RS, it came with 3.08's)

If i were you id get MSD wires i paed 30 bucks for them at PAW and an Accel cap and rotor is 20 bucks. I had nothing but probles with brog werner wires they would awalys melt on me at the worst time.
For the build sheet go to your trunk and were the glovebox is on the driver side opein that up and it should have the RPO codes that you can gon on here and decyfer.

Yeah, Borg Warner is more of a stock wire than anythign else. I've seen the Wells caps around, but I've always used Accel. I might try an AC/Delco one sometime.

A lower (numerically higher, think as in transmission gears) rear gear ratio will increase your 0-60, but drop your 1/4 mile and top speed.

A higher (numerically lower) rear gear will drop your 0-60, but increase your 1/4 mile, and raise your top speed.

You can get the same effect without doing a gear swap by changing your rear tire height. Going to a taller tire will "raise" your "effective" gear ratio (drops 0-60, raises top speed). Going to a shorter tire will "lower" your effective ratio (upping 0-60, dropping top speed).

That's why you see those cars with tiny tires lose races around 50-60 MPH. Their engine's revv'ing too damn high to keep a top speed. I won against many a Mustang "back in my day" because they'd put on tiny tires. They'd beat me for a few hundred feet, but I always gained on 'em and passed 'em!
