I recently purchased a hypertech stage 3 thermomaster chip for my 86 firebird 2.8 auto. Does anyone have one, or info on this?
Hypertech's website doesn't list it anymore.

 

I had the thermomaster chip form Hypertech. It requires a 160 degree thermo and recommends 93 octane...I ran 89 for the last few years I had that chip. I do want to mention I was never happy with the dollars for performance that chip offered. My buddy has it in his 89 along with the pulleys and it did remove a few tenths off his 1/4.. Don't expect a drastic change!!!!!!!!
