Will we be forced to remove the AC compressor to change the leaking hose on top of WP
Well the NEW Water Pump is on, and the hose ABOVE it is leaking (the small one that seems to meet another hose right behind the fan.) So, now the mobile mechanic is reluctant to get at it, because the clamp is facing towards the block, and "Difficult to get at" however its large enough that it left a small puddle under the car when it ran for ~1 minute.
Is there perhaps some type of "trick" to get the little hose off that comes from the Water Pump and meets the other hose? I ask because i elected to pay the mobile mechanic $75 for the Water Pump job, and we are now at an impasse as to how to get at this hose, to change it (and will he do that for free since we put it back together started it up, and saw that.)
Thanks! (This is the 84 Carburated Camaro.)
