high flow cat + intermediate pipe
When I get some money together I'm going to throw on a flowmaster 80 series muffler because my muffler right now is only blowing out of one pipe (possibly a blown baffle?) and doesnt sound too good. My question is, how much does a high flow cat help? I've heard that gutting your cat hardly helps at all and just hurts the environment. Before I bought my car 3 months ago, the owner put a new cat converter on it to pass emissions. So I'm hoping the stock one doesnt bottle neck performance too much since they're damn expensive.
I'm also wondering how much does a new intermediate pipe help? I don't really want to shell out the money for a cat-back kit when I can just get the muffler, and a couple of pipes and tips. Thanks guys.

I think it helped quite a bit. I did the muffler and tips first too, to see what it did. It did help a little. Then i did the random tech and 3" i-pipe and i think it runs quite a bit better and the power feels smoother. The exhaust tone changed as well..
