I want to know if it can be done without screwing up my computer(MPFI)I don't care if it is smog legal. Why can't I just by them and bolt them on is it engine compartment clearence or what. Smog leagal is not an issue here we don't even have a sniffer.

any of you guys from canada drive your car in the winter. i now it's a cruel thing to do to your car but some times you don't have a choice.

Don't expect the car to pass a safety inspection if you modify the exhaust. just warning you in case you ever sell it.

From what I know, the blazer headers fit, with no modification. I HAVEN'T SEEN IT FOR MYSELF THOUGH, it's just what I've heard. You'd need a custom Y-pipe though, of course.

Blazer headers might fit but require alot of work to fit correctly and if you have a manual tranny, your in trouble.

The drivers side header exits into the firewall and needs to be bent away by QUITE a bit. If manual then it also has to clear the clutch slave cylinder and hydaulic lines. NOT FUN. I think the passenger side might fit easier but I never got that far. I decided that by the time the I bent the headers they would be so far out of tune that the stock manifolds would probably perform just as well.

Also those headers are tuned to assist low end grunt. Usually cars like ours would want power in the mid and up range.

Just my $.02.

I drive my car all through the winter. Where I live we get maybe 2 days of snow a year.
