How can I fix it? I think blue means your burning oil. Funny, today I could have sworn it was white too when my friend was taking off into 1st... How hard will it be to fix?

Do this, when the car is cold, put your finger in the exhaust pipe and feel the inside, if its gooey and slippery you're burning oil, also just check your oil, does it look like chocolate even though you just had it changed? These are just a couple of do it yourself tips so you know whats up befor you take it to the shop.

Is the blue exhaust on start up or acceleration?
If it's on start up, heads are worn, need to swap for a rebuilt set.
If it's acceralation, it's a worn bottom end.
Need an engine swap to fix.
The mechainc will charge about $60 for the look-see.
You want to ask if he can perform a "leak-down" test. Which will definetly show & confirm if it's top end or bottom end. A compression test will "show" you need work, not truly confirm which parts of engine are worn the most.
How does the engine run? Have you pulled spark plugs, lately, to see what may be shown by your own eyes? Real BLACK, OILY plugs show you have problem, Houston!
