i have a 87 2.8 i think its a sc but how do i find out for sure?

SC = Sport Coupe...

SC is sport coupe. V-6 only comes in SC or RS. I think the RS is supposed to have a leather steering wheel and leather e-brake handle. Hope that helps

Does your car have any RS emblems on it, and only some RS's had the leather stuff. What kind of interior do you have? Also, RS's were pretty rare in 87, as this was the first year for them (YES IT WAS - Go to the Hist/Resto board and search for the topic if you don't think so). If the emblems say "CAMARO" on them, it is a SC.

Hey mikey I have owned 5 cams 91/92 right now (2 76s' a z and a standard cam, a 71 z28) and I have never heard of SC...to me its either a camaro, bretilina, RS, Z28, or Iroc.
