Fuel Presure
well I have the 3.1 and to adjust it you need a high pressure adjustable fuel pressure regulator(if you have MPFI) low pressure for carb/TBI. I will say safely that usually on MPFI engines you feel a difference with 6-9 PSI more(the snap acceleration no longer bogs and hard cornering lag is gone). TBI maybe 4-5 PSI, carb is hard to say. The way that I understand how a carb works is that it takes the fuel as it is needed so if you have a clean fuel line and good mechanical pump adjusting the fuel pressure up will just spit too much fuel into the intake giving an extreme rich condition.
