CAI

Ok, if all goes well, I'm setting up my CAI/Ram Air idea tomorrow. My ? is can I just splice my Speed Density sensor and extend it with some wire? I need to rotate my airbox for the idea I have....

I do not doubt you can.
When I got my Camaro fresh air set up, I also took the wires for the MAS and the item in the Air Cleaner Coffee can, so I could extend them.
If ya splice them, use heat shrink wrap, on the splices, for best long term protection.

if you are talking about the IAT sensor in the filter housing, that's what i did when i installed the 2 filter Y shaped intake. the stock wire wouldn't reach so i cut and spliced. just make sure you use the same gauge wire.

The speed density sensor's on the firewall, right? Or no? I'm guessing at it's location; I've seen them on other cars, but not f-bodies...
