Stolen again.

I've had a busy few weeks. I found a Formula 350, and have been busy getting the money together, inspections done, etc. I finally picked it up last week, $4750 Canadian. It's pretty sweet, power windows, doors, mirrors, cruise, WS6 suspension, etc. The stats and some pics are here:

Anyway, I park it for the night because I'm planning on doing some work on it, a full tune-up before I start driving it. Of course, I put my Club on the new car. *That night*, it gets stolen. The ****** broke into my neighbour's motorhome and used my car to haul the stuff away. Then they went joyriding in Cloverdale, a town about half and hour away from mine... the driver's side it totally thrashed, both wheels need replacing... about $2500 damage and counting.

What I need to know is, what do I look for in terms of the underside that could be damaged? I don't know much about suspension and alignment so I don't know what to look for. I *really* don't want to get ripped off by the insurance agency because I need to sell the car soon so I can pay my tutition for September

At least the RCMP caught the fu(kers.

That sucks **** man. I dunno what to say about your damages.. I think you'll only be able know the amount after ICBC checks it over. But find out the book value on your car so ICBC doesnt write it off on you. They like to write off older cars if the damages are in the ballpark value of the car. Unless you do want them to write it off so you get your money back.. lot easier than selling it. But besides that.. have it taken to a body shop you trust and should be alright.

I'm lucky I live in a "one way in, one way out" complex so theres not many break-ins.

I'm real sorry to hear.
I've had a car stolen.
Got it back.
Try to settle with insurance company and take the money and run. Let it go, as you said you'll be selling it, soon.
It's sold, now.
Fix, it, sure it can be.
But, who needs that headache.
You'll still be without a car for easily a month.
You're alive, you were not carjacked. Be happy. Really sorry to hear, tho.
My car stolen was my 1967 RS/SS Camaro Convertible 4-speed, yellow, black interior & black top, real wire wheels. I still have it.
