starting problems
I just purchased a 87 camaro with a 2.8. the probem is it fires but wont start even when fed fuel(it occasionally coughs and sputters but quickly dies). I decided to check the spark and it seems really weak. My first thought was a weak coil but after some digging I have come to find that there could be other culprits. anyone have any ideas on what all I should check? I want to get it running but I don't want to end up running in circles unnecessarilly. any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

could be many reasons,
I would check the firing order and if all sparks are firing.
best is to go along with your Haynes.
