Whistling at idle..........

I don't know what's up with my car now. Right when I turn on my car there is a strong whistling sound, and when I give it gas it gets louder until the engine drowns out the whistling sound. I was thinking maybe a hose or something? Or maybe something with the coolant tank? Aren't they pressurized or something? Please help me out, because maybe I can fix it myself. Thanks

Cheat.
Go get a section of heater hose.
Rather long about 2 feet.
Start serching for it.
Keep moving it about the engine bay.
There is a big vacuum hose connection at the base of the distributor, that goes to the PCV valve, driver side valve cover.
Keep moving hose around areas you've touched worked upon lately.
You can fix the hoses with 5/16" windshield wiper hose & that back one, use 1/2" hose & lots of electrical tape to take up spacing.
Be aware, every piece of plastic you touch, will be breaking, expect that. It's all fragile from heat & age. No, you cannot get anymore from dealer. Wrecking yard stuff is as bad as what you have now. parts sores have new connections, tho, you end up creating the hose sections.
Use motor oil to lube ends before assembly on plastic fittings, that will help.
Happy hunting. When I did my swap, I took a whole day making my vacuum lines & such.
