MAF Sensor

MAF Sensor

Hey i changed the sensor but the seal i can't get off...do i have to get a new one or does the original one come off???if so how..i tried everything

it holds the end of the sensor tight to the induction towards the front of the car...

Maybe he means the piece of rubber underneath the clamp? I thought that was a Firebird part...? My firebird had one from the factory between the MAF and air duct. The air duct then led to the intake hose.

With a camaro, there's no air duct, and the MAF fits snugly into the intake hose, needing no seal. So I'm still confused...?
