true duals, and v6
o.k., i know 3.1 firebird posted this a while ago, but now i'm gonna post too. DON'T DO IT!!! i just heard a mustang with em, and it sounded like crap. I pulled behind the dude, and noticed the chrome dual tips, and knew they weren't stock, then i noticed his bumper didn't say Mustang GT, or Cobra, and realized that his car had a v6. At idle the car was just as loud as my firebird with stock pipes (not to loud, but decent sounding. like a small block) but on the gas, it wined like a sonabitch, very annoying. I pulled next to the dude, and he asked me what i thought, and i told him it sounded alright, but it didn't honestly. Oh, it was true duals with flows... but anyway, just thought i'd share that. 3.1firebird, was that mustang u saw red, with a kid driving it? just curious. don't know how many 3.8L's round here runing with dual pipes. k. so, word of wisdom, go with flowmaster, hi-flo cat, and twin out pipes, it'll probably sound a heck of a lot better.
duals on a V6 do sound like *** ! I suggest going with a dynomax super turbo catback, I really like the sound of mine and a few GN guys thought it was a V8. I'd like to get some Borla tips, but I;m not sure if I;m going to keep the car or not. But then again my car is already paid for and all thats really left to do is port the heads out and get some slicks.
