V6 help needed... start up sputtering and interstate shut off...
Today I was driving on the interstate when my car just decided to shut off it does have a new fuel filter and was running great before today. It would start but would immediately sputter unless you held the gas half throttle then it would run but when you let off of the throttle it would immediately start sputtering again. So I just had it towed to my house. What would cause this?
It has been shifting late at around 4500 rpms and has slow acceleration issues...

Probably dead full pump, but a vacuum leak could also cause such a problem.

Fuel pump is fine it is putting out 38 at the fuel rail... but I know that I have vacuum leaks off of my EGR valve and somewhere else on the smog system... I know there are more but I have to find them... The timing is off just a little but hopefully that will be fixed by tomorrow afternoon... Any more suggestions

Well it turns out it was the coolant temperature sensor because the thermostat is bad and not allowing the coolant to circulate correctly.
So thursday, it is getting new plugs, wires, thermostat, coolant temperature sensor, exhaust manifold gaskets, and vacuum lines, and tires...
