I have one nad I am told they are hard to find now.. I love it.. It loks cool and with a shift kit is a lot of fun to have.. In your new tranny get about 2500RPM of stall on your converter and get a nice shift kit..

Is that the shifter that lets you choose between auto and manual control?

ALL FACTORY TRANNYS CAN DO THAT,
But, the Hurst unit is much more positive shifting feeling.
Go to tranny section and asks to see a pic.
They are NICE units.

I have the B&M Megashifter and i am really happy with it. I like the rachet action that you get from it. Not to mention it looks awesome in it. The hardest part was the wiring and that was even that hard. I just took my time with it and made it perfect!

Any of you guys tried out the Hurst V-Matic Shifter? It looks alot like the Megashifter and supposedly it can operate with ratchet action as well.

I was looking into the megashifter a while back but I´ve heard alot of people complaining about hacking the console and the chrome fading on the handle. So i´ve put that purchase on hold and am researching on the V-Matic and the quarterstick. Any ideas guys?
