I HAVE AC AGAIN!

well after 2 months of no A/C I finally got a retro kit and filled the system up today. And now the car cools down in a few seconds just like before.

About 2 months ago a freak electrical arc went through the frame and put a pin hole in the condensor. Don't ask I don't know how it happened. I ripped the other condensor from my 91 RS and put it in about a month ago and thats as far as it got till today. I finally got tired of sitting idle in my car in 100 plus deg days.... took maybe 10 minutes and man it's alot more tolerable now...

I can't wait to just have my system checked for leaks and refilled with R-12.
Why?
It's cheaper for me

LOL it cost me 35.99... for the retro kit and all... My R-12 was great till a freak pissed off electrical arc went through the body...

And you can get the retro kit and get 134a leak stopper... it's like 3 bucks per 4 oz can... It's supposed to be good stuff... and it costs you less then 35 bucks for like 1.9 pounds of r-12??? ked??? where are you getting this stuff from??? its not even made in america anymore!.(at least thats what I have been told by many a person)

Actually it is made in America.
Dupont makes the stuff, to be exported, only.
This is what I have been informed of.
I'm able to get the stuff from somone who obtains it from one of those places it is imported to.
I'd rather use the real stuff my AC systems were designed for. IF I couldn't at the price I've been offered, your solution is a great option.
