I was sitting in a parking lot with the car running and smoke started coming out the back of the motor. The engine was real hot also? What could it be. I just had a new dist. O-Ring out on cause it was leaking. It was hard to tell what it was. I think its exhaust but im no expert. Anyone know what this could be???

its oil coming out of the distributer, then burning on the block. sounds like it wasnt doen right when they "fixed" it. orb its just keft over oil from when they did. how long ago was it done?

about a month. But ill check tomorrow to see if there is oil at the back.

Had the same prob after i had mine fixed last week. IT turned out it was old pooled oil. Run the car and park it at walmart in a clean patch of cement. Go shopping... come back after a hour or so OR when the checks are gone and card is maxed (your choice) look under the car. If its leaking there will be lots of oil like it used to be. if theres afew drips and stuff its most likely just burning off oil that was trapped long ago. Keep checking it for a week or so.
