Its back near the LR tire...you can't miss it, its a decent sized metal cannister in the fuel line.
Its easy to replace as long as:
A) It has been done since the car was new, as they tend to want to rust onto the line
B) You disconnect the fuse for the fuel pump and crank the car...it will run for a second, then die out. After this, crank the car for 10 seconds. It won't start, but it will de-pressurize the line
C) You don't mind getting gas on you
No matter how long you crank the starter, you will get gas running down you arm...how bad depends on how good you are at getting the damn thing off!

It's near your left rear tire. Just follow your fuel lines and you will see it. Just buy a new one first so you know what it looks like.
Replacement is easy. Just remove your gas cap and then loosen the fittings for the filter. You might have to remove the filter bracket first. REMEMBER, the filter is DIRECTIONAL. Note the way the filter is mounted and install the new one the same way. Also, use a pan because you will spill a little fuel but not much.
