Hi Garmer, what's up? The Dynomax Super-Turbo catback is part #17493; that becomes part # WLK-17493 in "Summit Racing" language.

The description for our catalytic convertor is a "GM, 2.5" in, and 2.5" flanged ball outlet". This is how I found it thru Summit's online catalog. In fact, let me quote an old message of mine (in case it gets archived away due to old age, we'll have it for later!)

<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by TomP:
Catco! Part #CTO-4115. (Through summitracing.com) I did a "Manufacturer Search", and on the top of the search screen, I told it department = "Exhaust", section = "catalytic convertors", manufacturer = "catco". A list popped up. I chose our setup, which is a 2.5" in, and 2.5" flanged ball outlet. A box popped up- and the cat looks like mine. I clicked on applications, and there it was, standing out at me- 82-92 Camaro 2.8/3.1 ! If the pic & and description (flanged ball out) is right, this is the bolt-in cat you need. Oh- price was $83 US... but no mods needed!

I myself have a "products for power" cat convertor, but Summit doesn't list them on their online catalog anymore. It's probably the same bolt-on cat that KED85 has.. I paid $67 for it. Karl has a phone number to a shop where he got his; maybe you could go after that one.

You can always get a "universal" cat, but it won't be a bolt-in, and you'll need to either have it welded, or find a "kit". The kits consist of the flange and some hangers, allowing you to "bolt on" the correct flange.

And I don't have my webpage up yet, but here's the last posting of my major tuneup message: https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/...ML/002382.html

If ya have to have a system welded, this is a no extra brainer for the exhaust guy.
Reason, ya cut off the fitting from the old CC weld onto the new one.
It really is an easy switch/operation.
Even Don's can get the system for ya, I'll bet. He also sells lengths of pipes, too.
BUT, if ya live in a rust free area, honest, reuse your old pipes. That's works in your favor, easy.
Check out your options, not your check book.

Did I? I don't remember... that link I gave you was my last posting, so if I did make any changes, they're in there. Hm. Maybe I'll search the 'ol archives to see if I mentioned the word revision...
