swapping 2.8 block and heads for 3.4 question

i have been reading a lot on here about swapping my bad 2.8 block and heads for a 3.4 block and heads. i printed out several different post on here about doing it and am pretty confident i have it down. there is just one issue i have with it. before my 2.8 went i had installed the pacesetter headers on it. i cant find anything in here about if they will transfer over to the 3.4 block or not. i cant understand why they wouldn't just want to check and make sure. they were only on the 2.8 for a month or so would hate to no be able to use them anymore. plus i like the sound of my current exhaust setup.

I've seen swapping headers mentioned many times, between 2.8, 3.1 and 3.4.

Just bolt them up.

Re: swapping 2.8 block and heads for 3.4 question

Why wouldn't they work? The heads are the exact same, the block deck height is the exact same, the block re-uses the 2.8 mounting, et cetera. If you didn't realize these facts, then you didn't do enough reading.

Re: swapping 2.8 block and heads for 3.4 question

He is not a jerk. If you have researched the 2.8/3.1/3.4 swap, you would know that the heads and block are dimensionally-at least externally- the same, so all the accessories will bolt on, INCLUDING THE EXHAUST. If you have researched that and still ask this question, then you did indeed not do enough reading. Plus this has been asked and answered a bazillion times on this site...

Looked to me like a simple case of bad spelling.

Re: swapping 2.8 block and heads for 3.4 question

It was both a spelling and grammar mistake. A two-for-one.
