looking around at Lowes today

well I went into lowes today after some sealant because I had taken the steel extension off my hatch when I took the glass of to tint it yesterday(yes it was troublesome to do but the ease of tinting makes it WELL WORTH IT) but anyway I was looking at some ducting and I saw one that had a 4 inch round tube that had a 90 degree 4-5 by 10 inch rectangular opening and was thinking that would move a **** load of air!.
But the hook up would be a nightmare with the tubing reductions and so on. But good grief that would be a killer intake tube!.

Ok further thought, Hey graeme that K&N you got is a 4 incher right?(thinking 1 prob down) now to custom make the "over the radiator tube" and run that thing right down in front of the radiator. then you have mass amounts of forced air!.

WE (firebirds) cannot do the over the radiator support to the front as the BRACING UNDER THE HOOD interferes with our logic.
Drat!

LOL you could always run in behind the rad and cut a hole in that plastic skirt that forces air into the rad and mount it(that big A$$ pick up) there.. Just another problem solved LOL... It would also cut down on the number of drastic turns the air has to make 2 45's should do it on that one.

well you could have a 3 inch 45 down and mount the filter on that elbow and that filter is 4 inch around so run that ducting over the and then get that big a$$ scoop in a 45 instead of 90 and your done.(or you could make due with another 45 down there to get the lines needed to get it straight.
