mid 15's with good traction and weather. My car runs a 16.0, but I have a hard time getting it to hook up well since I have 3.73 non-posi. Red91bird modded his car to 14.9's and 13.9's with the juice. There was another guy here named brad keith who had a high 14 second 2.8.

you can check my sig. All I really have left to do is put a set of ported heads on. Of course there is an ignition box,roller rockers,torque converter,chip,posi,weight reduction left if I want to go all out.

probably 9 seconds on the 0-60.

wow 15-16 with a V6, now i know there is hope for my car , im pretty sure with what i have right now i would at least get late 16'-17's

but soon after everythign i do i should be running 15's-16's

this coming friday im buying a Cat from Don's for 60 bucks, it's a high flow one but i forgot what it was called, wasn't catco, something like performance.

he didn't have any dynomax cat back systems in stock, here is a quick question, i can special order it an have it in 3 days, BUThe can only order V8 Cat Back system's, will the
cat bakc fit my V6? or are all dynomax catbacks made for V8's??

yes the V8 will for the V6. same curves and bends. Just get the 2 1/2 inch version and not the 3 inch. You will loose MAD torque due to NO back pressure.

3.1 firebird....I have another question, I checked on the cam you have in your sig and in summit it said it was only for v8s.

I have a 92 3.1 camaro and I like what you have done to your car. Could you give me the low down on the cam, because Im interested in making that my next mod.

Camaro Hunter- 3" didnt loose anything, i gained. In low end i did lose, but what i lost in low end i gained in top end 2x, When i first take off the line im kinda slow til about 2300, then when i hit that, i take off like a bat outta hell...

What do you mean 'built V6'? Street car? Race car? Everybody that responded assumed that you meant stree car. Does anybody follow NHRA Sportsman Divisions? They have a class called Competition Eliminator that have mostly V6's and small V8's that run an index based on cubic inches vs weight. Some of the quickest cars are running V6's. I've seen them go as quick as 8.50's in the quarter.

Check out National Dragster to see the index's or go to a national event and watch the sportsman racing on Saturday and Sunday. There could be a lot of knowledge gained if you checked out some of these guys.
