hey man... can you do me a favor? See what you can get a Prom and ECM for for an 89 firebird 2.8? Seems to be diagnosed as the ecm is my problem so im gonna get a new one.

A ECM is 80 total after the core fee at autozone i had to replace mine it was the reason i went through hell with my car. I replaced EVERY friggin sensor some up to 3 times. And all it was was my damn computer blowin i fodn out that was it when it wouldnt let my TC out of lockup and blew my tranny.

I can get a PROM for about $44 from GM. Regular price is $80. The ECM, it might be cheaper from Pep Boys,etc.....I think the ECM from GM is around $200....I could probably get it for around $120.(after core return)

Check the part store prices and i will get you DEFINITE GM prices tomorrow. Then you can compare.
