torque converters

Has anybody tried any aftermarket torque converters? I found a web site www.transmissioncenter.net it looks like they specilize in 700r4 and other tranmissions

When I had my rebuilt I asked for a higher stall in the new converter. They claim I am like 400RPM over stock.. I will try and get the part number and brand...
