New Intake Questions

I bought brand new in the box edelbrock intake and top, on ebay last week and i should be getting in the mail in about a week.

1. Has anyone installed on of these intakes?

2. I took a look at the pile of engine gaskets I have I found intake gasket sets(I move like 4 set) looking at them I noticed that one side has a metal like pannel inside the third hole from the front and it has a small hole in it, What is it? Can i cut it out? I also read on the package that it maybe an intake restrictor.

3. I hoping to get 10-20hp out of the new intake, is that a realistic figure?

Thank in advance,
Robert

P.S. I have lots of extra gaskets, if anyone need something I can send them to you, no cost just cover shipping.

Just making sure, but that intake plenum is for a carb system. By the looks of your mods, 10-20 HP is a bit too optimistic. But, if you do indeed intend to further upgrade your motor, each mod in the furture will be noticed more than without that performance plenum.

Sounds good. 300HP might be a ways to achieve without the bottle though.
