I used to have a 94 Camaro 3.4L V6 till my bro totaled it. I've looked at the two intakes you're talking about. I don't see any real difference other than the conical filter used. I would prefer K&N because they specialize in intakes. Also it helps that their main office/factory is only a few miles away from me(Riverside, CA)

My brother use to have a 95 3.4 and made some nice power with a Moroso. He also used underdrive pullies, MSD ignition, Hooker Cat back and high flow cat. Made the car real peepy.
I also installed a Moroso on a 97 LT1 camaro and it made noticeable difference. Plus it was about $30 cheaper if I remember correctly.
Its personal choice I guess, but they will bot last a ver long time and will be an improvement over stock.

This is not intended to sound like a bash, just simple physics...
I calculated out a 2.8 draws about 280 CFM at redline once.. (I think.. been a while) so let's say the 3.4 draws 340 CFM.. 400 in case it has a higher redline.. now. These intakes were designed for LT1s drawing.. oh.. 600 CFM? I don't think you'll notice a difference even if there is one, which I doubt there's much of one. Just get that stock restrictive air box taken care of! =)

If you think the thirdgen intakes are bad you ought to see the ones on the 4thgen forget about what they we designed for because they dont flow enough for the LT!, not even close. Hell they look like there is a like 1" of space at on point for it to breath through. Get the air intake it will make a difference and sound cool to

Yeah, I've seen the stock ones.. don't remind me, they're scary. But the intakes I was referring to were the *aftermarket* ones designed for the LT1. EITHER is going to flow far more than a v6 needs, so neither is likely to have any significant advantage over the other... unless of course these intakes are designed just for the v6's (like us thirdgenners ever got treatment like that. heh, right).
