vent hose

I got a 91 RS with a 3.1. On the passenger side valve cover there is a hose coming from the cover leading into the air intake. I assume this is the crankcase vent hose.It is leaking a little bit and I was wondering what is the cause and the solution. The engine has 46k on it.Replaced the orig with this one.

Yeah , you can replace it , or you can just take it out and replace it with a valve cover breather .Just dont foreget to plug the hole thats on the intake pipe ...Wayne

If you want to get fancy, you could buy some braided hose to get rid of the pipe... but yeah, a small leak = no big deal; the rubber grommet on the valve cover is probably just worn out. I wonder if GM sells a replacement for that!
