Clearing the Comp.

hey guys, I had read in a previous post that you can and should disconnect the computer to clear it. Someone said you could just pull the fuse that was on the passengers side under the hood. Only thing is that I am not sure which one to pull!

And- Is there another O2 sensor after the cat that would trigger the SES light? I don't think there is, but it has been throwing a code sence I got the custom catback done. Thanks.

well from my knowledge all you have to do to clear the computer is unhook the negative battery cable for about 2-5 min. some people say 30 sec. but you wana be sure and clear it.

Yeah, I knew about disonnecting the battery... I guess that would be the easiest way to do it. Even if it clears the radio with it.

It shouldn't take 2-5 min unless you've stuck a big inductor in the circuit or something wacky like that.

I'm just tired don't mind me

Not to argue, but I've done the one minute thing, and it sucks... Once my car ran like crap, and it said it was suffereing from MAF, so I reset for a minute, and it was still showing the codes, then I reset it for 10 minutes, and code disappeared... never seen again (thats was 3 months ago) :P
